Although the bikes used for the test race were quick, it became apparent the Goodspeed 500 machine needed to be of a different breed. After extensive research the logical choice was to approach C & J racing since their existing products closely resemble the looks of the Goodspeed bike already. Yamaha; needless to say, a leading motorcycle brand in its own right, will to supply the engine. A 450cc single cylinder power unit. The GS500 motorcycle just tips the scales at 100 KG resulting in an extremely low fuel economy and inherently a very low CO2 emission. The bikes will be produced in house by C&J motor-cycles in the USA. The motorcycle is due for release in 2010.
